Frequently asked questions

Can we have a fire?

Yes!

No camping experience is complete without toasting marshmallows by the fire to make gooey s'mores.

So grab one of our fire packs and enjoy a night under our dark skies looking for shooting stars.

For campers and tourers - Hire a fire pit for just £3.00 per night, then choose one of the wood packs to light up your night

For glampers - Each of our Glamping pods are complete with a fire pit, so no need to hire one, just choose the wood pack to suit you and enjoy.

All our wood is locally sourced and has passed all the "ready to burn" certifications, so please do not bring scrap wood or forrage for branches.

Can we have a BBQ?

Yes!

Please do not light disposable BBQ's on grass or our picnic benches.

For Glampers light on our new for 2023 BBQ stands

If you have hired a fire pit, order a pack of charcoal and we'll supply a rack for the top.

Or why not order a Grill2go  - The flat plate or griddle iron is perfect for Sausages, steak, tomatoes and eggs.

Bring a pan and you can cook up a storm on the gas burner.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes!

Dogs are very welcome at Meadow Falls, including in all our pods.

Our 200 metre enclosed walking area is fenced, spacious and gated, giving your furry friend a chance to relax off lead and let off steam.

After a day's adventuring why not have a scrub up in the doggy wash located at the entrance to the site. Lovely warm water and shampoo can be provided if needed.

Please ensure you clean up all mess, the next visitor wouldn't want any surprise presents.

Please keep dogs on leads throughout the rest of the site.

Please don't take dogs into the shower block, we have plenty of lead hooks outside, or you can ask for help if needed.

Please don't leave your dog unattended on your pitch, in a tent or caravan; they can get distressed and the weather can change quickly.
